Fashion Inspiration 1: Rachel Barry from Glee

I admit it. I am a certified Gleek.

I just adore Glee. The song covers are just eargasmic. The drama is so high school its crazy relatable, sometimes. Haha! And the outfits (specifically Rachel's) are just my cup of tea.

The way Glee's stylists and costume managers or whatever you call 'em, dressed up Rachel in every episode makes me wonder where I can hire my own. I mean, they can never get her to look like crap. Okay, so maybe her outfits in the first few seasons were so high school and she was channeling this goody goody-two-shoes brat, but hey. Its what her character called for. And somehow, she made it work. But during the more recent seasons, you can just follow Rachel's transformation. From her boring and flat hair to a killer fringe and to-die for curls. From her plain face to her modelesque makeup. From her high socks and preppy headbands to high heels and subtle head pieces. Rachel just managed to go from cute to hot.

This gives me a new inspiration whenever I look for new pieces. I sometimes try to channel my inner Rachel and just go out there and wear whatever makes me feel pretty. And what I also like about her is her confidence to just go out there and strut her stuff. Doesn't matter if people stare. At least you've got their attention. You're not plain. You stand out.

Rachel Barry is love. <3 Oh. And her clothes are too. ;)
